The Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering has organized a training workshop entitled “Linking graduation projects with labour market” that lasts for three days with the participation of the fifth- year students, as part of the faculty\u2019s efforts to enhance students\u2019 practical skills and link the academic aspect with the professional reality. <\/p>\n

The workshop has focused on the importance of graduation projects as the culmination of the theoretical and practical knowledge that the student has acquired during the years of study, and their role in providing solutions to real problems. <\/p>\n

The university vice-pressident for scientific affairs, Prof. Walid Khaddam, has explained that the event aims to clarify the importance of graduation projects and their direct link to the labor market, indicating that the graduation project is a turning point in the student\u2019s university life, and it must be a scientific research of real value that can be applied on the ground. <\/p>\n

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Prof. Muhammad Al-Talawi, has pointed out that graduation projects constitute a fundamental milestone in the student\u2019s academic journey, noting that the workshop includes 12 training hours distributed over three days for an average of four hours per day.<\/p>\n

Prof. Anton Youssef, Head of the Food Engineering Department and one of the participants, has explained how to prepare graduation projects, the mechanism for choosing a project idea, and determining its scientific and practical goals, noting the importance of the scientific methodology in research and linking the project results to practical applications <\/p>\n

This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities implemented by the faculty, with the aim of raising the level of university education outputs and enhancing the role of graduation projects in serving the community and the labor market. <\/p>\n
