A master thesis entitled “Using Approximation Methods to Reduce the Time of Structural Analysis for Seismic-Resistant Structures” was discussed by the researcher Ahmed Ghasan Al-Naser,<\/p>\n

under the supervision of Prof. Muhammed Ali Essa. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Waleed Ibrahim, Prof. Essam Melhem, and Prof. Muhammed Essa. <\/p>\n

This research studied 39 models of three structural systems.<\/p>\n

The first system: the frame tube (tube within a tube), at heights of 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48 floors. <\/p>\n

The second system: Shear walls at heights of 3, 7, and 12 floors <\/p>\n

Third system: Moment-resistant frames at heights of 3, 7, 12 floors <\/p>\n

At the end of the discussion, the researcher was awarded a master’s degree with distinction.<\/p>\n
