In the framework of joint work and continuous cooperation between the Central Authority for Supervision and Inspection and Homs University, and with the aim of enhancing transparency and quality in the educational and administrative processes, the President of Homs University, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, accompanied by the Head of the Authority’s Branch in Homs, Mr. Abdul Fattah Attar, and the Inspector General for Higher Education Institutions in Homs, Prof. Osama Jouria, conducted an inspection tour of several university faculties.
\nThey reviewed the work of the audit committees assigned to review graduation decisions issued by the Faculties of Law, Science, and Education for the academic years from 2019\/2020 to 2023\/2024, in a step aimed at ensuring accurate academic procedures consistent with the applicable university regulations.
\nIn addition, they observed the conduct of theoretical exams in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and listened to the students’ opinions and feedback.
\nProf. Houssam ElDeen highlighted the importance of collaborative work with the Central Authority for Supervision and Inspection in Homs to elevate the university, ensuring integrity and transparency by addressing problems, corruption cases, and administrative errors to optimize academic and administrative operations. He also praised the Authority’s efforts in supporting the university’s progress.
