In the presence of the President of Homs University, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, and his deputy for scientific research and higher studies, Prof. Muhammed Masri, a doctoral thesis entitled ” Studying the economic and social feasibility of water harvesting projects in the middle area of Syria” was discussed at the Faculty of Agriculture, under the supervision of Prof. Jammal Mustaffa Al-Ali and Prof. Jamal Al-Bakkadash . Prof. Houssam ElDeen emphasized that this outstanding scientific effort addresses a vital issue concerning water security in Syria, emphasizing the university’s commitment to supporting applied studies aimed at providing practical solutions for agricultural and water resources challenges, and serving community and sustainable development.
The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Jamal Mustafa Al-Ali, Prof. Muhammad Al-Abdullah, Prof. Muhammad Al-Miqdad, Prof. Anwar Ramadan, and Prof. Samer Taameh.
At the end of the discussion, the researcher was awarded a doctoral degree with distinction.
