A master thesis entitled “The effect of adding lime on the properties of organic soil” was discussed by the researcher Maysaa Bashir Al-Shami at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, under the supervision of Prof. Najla Al-Hasan.
The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Maan Hilal, Prof. Muhammad Takla, and rof. Najla Al-Hasan.
The researcher indicated that the aim of the research is to study the effect of organic materials on soil and to monitor the change in the geotechnical properties of organic soil after the addition of lime. At the end of the discussion, the researcher Maysaa Bashir Al-Shami was awarded a master’s degree in civil engineering with very good grade.
