The Faculty of Dentistry at Homs University, in cooperation with the Dental Association and the Directorate of Health, organized a scientific event entitled “The scientific day for modern
technologies in dental implants”, with the participation of academics, specialists and postgraduate students, with the purpose of keeping abreast of the scientific developments and modern applications in this field.
The scientific day included specialized lectures on contemporary treatment planning in dental implants and an exhibition for the recent dental equipment.
President of Homs University, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, confirmed that the event reflects the university’s keenness to keep pace with the medical advancements, and indicated that the partnership enhances integration between the academic and professional sides in a manner that improves the quality of health and educational services.
For his part, the faculty dean, Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Munajjid, explained that the goal is to raise the scientific and training efficiency of students and practitioners, while highlighting the latest scientific advancements in the field of periodontal disease and dental implants.
For his part, the President of Dental Association, Dr. Subai’ Al-Abdullah, pointed to the growing scientific activities in Homs, noting the role of the “Dental Advisory Committee” in developing specialized work and turning coordination into practical applications in organizing scientific events.
The event concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing such scientific activities in developing practical skills and updating medical knowledge, while praising the organizational level and scientific content.
