Al-Baath University Council held its 18th session for the academic year 2023-2024, chaired by the President of Al-Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib.
The council discussed the procedures of electronic service and automation related to the data of students and the academic staff at the university. In addition, the council reviewed the process of digital transformation which is considered an essential part of the higher education sector development and transformation strategy, and emphasized the importance of periodic meetings to evaluate the performance.
Moreover, the university preparations for the theoretical exams and the preparatory year exams in the faculties of civil engineering and medicine were discussed with an emphasis on the necessity of providing all examination requirements. Prof. Al Khatib also stressed the need to expedite the issuance of theoretical examination programs for the faculties that have not yet issued them. He also emphasized the necessity of issuing the results of practical exams before the theoretical exams.
The council also discussed a number of academic and administrative scientific issues on its agenda and took appropriate decisions.
