A doctoral dissertation entitled “Strengthening of shear damaged reinforced concrete beams using ferrocement” was discussed by the researcher Muhammad Mithqal Al Droubi at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, under the supervision of Prof. Muneeb Al Allaf. The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Edward Shedid, Prof. Mounir Al Atrash, Prof. Ihsan Al Tarsha, Prof. Mounir Al Allaf, and Prof. Turath Gharib. At the end of the discussion, the researcher Muhammad Mithqal Al Droubi was awarded a doctoral degree in the structural engineering with distinction.
