Within the framework of cultural and scientific exchange relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, a delegation of students excelling in the Persian Language visited Iran for a week. They learned about the most important cultural, scientific and touristic places. President of Al-Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, thanked the Consulate General in the Islamic Republic of Iran for the invitation addressed to the students, stressing the importance of the visit in learning about the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Persian language, and its civilization. He also emphasized the interest of the university in strengthening and developing cooperation relations with the Iranian side in the scientific and cultural field .
