The entrance exam to the Faculty of Architecture has started with the participation of 926 students holding high school certificate. The secretary of B.A.S.P branch at the university, Prof. Fayeq Shadood, and the university vice-president for students and administrative affairs, Prof. Nidal Sattouf, have inspected the progress of exam in the relevant centers. Prof. Sattouf has indicated that the exam is supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education, and has pointed to its importance in selecting qualified students who are able to participate in the reconstruction phase. He has also emphasized that the university is interested in providing equal opportunities for students as most of them have completed the training course organized by the faculty according to scientific academic principles before the exam, wishing students success.
The faculty dean, Prof. Numir Abboud, has pointed out that there have been 926 applicants and that the faculty has organized several training courses under the supervision of specialist professors.
The members of party leadership at the university branch, Prof. Imad Massouh and Prof. Adnan Al Sheikh Hammoud, and the faculty deanship participated in the observation tour.
