A doctoral dissertation entitled “Updating the fertilizer recommendation (nitrogen fertilization) for sugar beet crops grown in the northern countryside of Homs Governorate” was discussed by the researcher Sarah Saleh Abdul Ghani at the Faculty of Agriculture, under the supervision of Prof. Samir Shamsham and Prof. Mahmoud Al hamdan. The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Mahmoud Awda, Prof. Ahmed Al Jardi, Prof. Samir Shamsham, Prof. Abdul Hakim Qashem, and Prof. Muhammad Manhal Al Zaabi. At the end of the discussion, the researcher Sarah Saleh Abdul Ghani was awarded a doctorate degree in agricultural engineering with distinction.
