Homs University Council held its regular session chaired by the university president, Prof. Trek Houssam ElDeen, in the presence of the university vice-presidents, university secretary, and the faculty deans.
The council has reviewed the progress of the theoretical exams for the second semester, and the university president, Prof. Houssam ElDeen has emphasized that the teaching staff members have to adhere to the exam instructions and put questions appropriate for the different levels of students, stressing the need to issue accurate results and to send cheating reports immediately to the university presidency for successful and fair educational process.
In addition, he has indicated to the importance of continuing research and educational efforts to enhance the university status locally and internationally and provide a stimulating academic environment for achieving its vision and mission.
The council has also discussed a number of academic and administrative scientific topics on its agenda, and has taken appropriate decisions.
