In the presence of the university president, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, a doctoral dissertation entitled “The automated correction of multichoice answer papers using the optical character recognition algorithms based on artificial intelligence” was discussed by the researcher Muhammed Ahmed Ali at the Faculty of Informatics Engineering, under the supervision of Alida Esper and Prof. Suhil Al-Hamoud.
Prof. houssam ElDeen has praised the efforts exerted by the research and the supervision and discussion committees and has referred to the importance of the research in the field of automation and artificial intelligence, stressing that such researches contribute to the development of academic and administrative work.
