A master thesis entitled “Synthesis of new complexes using diphenylpyridine hydrazone derivatives” was discussed by the researcher Nisreen Girgis Demian at the Faculty of Science,
under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mudar Al-Khidr and with the participation of Prof. Khaled Al-Zabar.
The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Muhammed Mudar Al-Khader, Prof. Faiz Hazwani, and Prof. Lama Nour El-Deen.
The researcher has explained that the most important objective of the research is the synthesis of two organic ligands L1, L2 and proving their structures using (13C-NMR, 1H-NMR), IR and UV-Vis spectra
.
At the end of the discussion, the researcher Nisreen Girgis Demian was awarded a master’s degree in inorganic chemistry with a very good grade.
