A master’s thesis entitled ” Techniques of Softening Criticism Used by English Language Students at Homs University” was discussed by the researcher Lina Salami at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, under the supervision of Prof. Talal Khalil.
The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Ahmed Muhamed Hassan, Prof. Maurice Al-Omar, and Prof. Talal Al-Khalil.
The research aimed to study the techniques used by English language students at Homs University to deliver criticism in a polite manner that shows respect to the recipient.
At the end of the discussion, the researcher was awarded a master’s degree with distinction.
