A master’s thesis entitled ” The Effect of some Apium graveolens Leaf Extracts on Aerobic Bacteria that Cause Infection of Gynecological Surgical Wounds” was discussed by the researcher Aya Abdul Karim Al-Fares at the Faculty of Science, under the supervision of Prof. Nada Mahfouz and Prof. Adel Al-Habbal.
The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Mohi El-Din Al-Ali, Prof. Nada Mahfouz, and Prof. Mahasen Al-Qabaji.
Prof. Houssam ElDeen emphasized that the university places great importance on supporting scientific research and encouraging researchers to address applied scientific topics that serve the community. He also pointed out that this study represents a qualitative addition to the field of research on natural alternatives to antibiotics and reflects the distinguished scientific level of postgraduate students in the faculties.
At the end of the discussion, the researcher was awarded a master’s degree with a very good grade.
