Within the framework of enhancing the link between academic knowledge and practical application and supporting youth initiative, the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Incubator at Homs University. The event is organized in cooperation with the StartUp Syria organization as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities.
The event aims to foster a culture of tech entrepreneurship and empower people having ideas and software and digital projects to understand market needs, determine pricing strategies, and efficiently manage their projects, enabling them to enter the competitive business environment.
The university president, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, reviewed the students’ innovative projects, listening to detailed explanations of the most prominent innovations and the challenges they face in the marketing and market entry stages. He also emphasized the importance of this event in highlighting youth potential and opening new horizons for transforming digital ideas into marketable products. The event included a presentation by Prof. Ahmed Gharbal, who outlined six key revenue models for generating financial returns for technology projects: subscriptions, services, commissions, advertising, digital products, and e-commerce.
