A master thesis entitled ” Using ultrasound in improving soybean protein extraction” was discussed by the researcher Marwa Khaled Hamsaho at the Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering,
under the supervision of Prof. Fouad Atallah.
The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Fouad Atallah, Prof. Abdul Nasser Al-Araj, and Prof. Nisreen Al-Bitar.
The aim of the research is to extract proteins from soybeans using a modern method, namely the ultrasonic method, and to compare it with the traditional extraction method. It also aims to study the variables affecting the process. The results confirmed that the modern extraction method is the best and most effective one.
At the end of the discussion, the researcher Marwa Khaled Hamsaho was awarded a master’s degree with distinction.
