The activities of the conference have been launched at the Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering under the slogan “New visions for building the future”, which lasted for two days with the participation of academics, researchers and students , and in the presence of the university vice-president for scientific affairs, Prof. Walid Khaddam.
The university president, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, has indicated that the conference falls within the university’s orientation to promote the scientific research and innovation through developing the ideas of researchers and transforming them into projects supporting the sustainable development and investing youth capacities.
The faculty dean, Prof. Muwaffak Talawi,has explained that the conference is a platform for exchanging experiences, supporting applied research, and linking the university with the community, noting that 26 scientific researches were presented and addressed applied solutions in multiple fields.
