A doctoral dissertation entitled ” The effectiveness of distance education using zoom in developing some scientific research skills among students of the Faculty of Education at Homs University” was discussed by the researcher Eman Bashar Al-Zein at the Faculty of Education, under the supervision of Prof. Nadia Al-Manshaf and Prof. Luluah Al-Abd, in the presence of the university president, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, his vice-presidents, and the deanship of the faculty.
The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Muhammed Ismail, Prof. Asmahan Jaafar, Prof. Nadia Al-Manshaf, Prof. Fawzia Al-Saeed, and Prof. Jamila Sukkarieh.
Prof. Hussam ElDeen emphasized that the research is a qualitative addition to the educational library, particularly in the field of employing modern technology in educational process, noting that the university greatly support the scientific research and encourage researchers, which positively affects the quality of educational outputs and keeps pace with the demands of the times. He wished the researcher all success in her scientific and academic progress.
At the end of the discussion, the researcher was awarded a doctoral degree with distinction.
