The Faculty of Dentistry, in cooperation with the Homs Dental Syndicate and the Directorate of Health in Homs, conducted a specialized scientific day in endodontics titled “Vision Changes Everything” at the main amphitheater of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
The President of Homs University, Prof. Tarek Houssam El-Deen, emphasized that organizing such scientific events reflects the university’s keenness to support scientific research, exchange expertise, and give students the opportunity to be familiar with the latest developments in dentistry. He added that students can benefit from the skills of participating doctors and specialists, pointing out that cooperation and integration among various institutions constitute an added value for scientific and professional work. Furthermore, this contributes to building bridges of communication between university education and medical practice, positively affecting the level of qualification and health services.
The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Muhammad Qusay Al-Munajjid, indicated that the main objective of this scientific day is to transfer knowledge and modern technology to practicing doctors and future doctors, especially clinical year students (fourth and fifth), in order to enhance their practical and applied skills.
The event was accompanied by a specialized medical exhibition featuring sponsoring companies (Zahra Dent and Clara Dent), showcasing the latest medical tools, equipment, and innovative medications in the fields of dental implants, orthodontics, and endodontics. The scientific day was attended by representatives from the Dental Syndicate and the Homs Health Directorate, as well as specialist dentists, faculty members, and students from the Faculty of Dentistry.
