Homs University and the International University of Science and Renaissance (Izaz) signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening scientific, academic, and research cooperation between the two universities. The memorandum covers several areas, most notably: the exchange of publications and educational materials, joint supervision and peer review of graduate theses, joint scientific research projects, joint seminars and conferences, and exchanges of scientific and academic visits for faculty members and students.
President of Homs University, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, emphasized that the signing of the memorandum comes within the framework of Homs University’s ongoing efforts to expand academic and research cooperation with national educational institutions, with the goal of exchanging scientific and administrative expertise and opening new horizons for students and researchers to share knowledge, thus contributing to the development of higher education and scientific research in Syria.
President of the International University of Science and Renaissance, Prof. Mustafa Al-Darwish, stated that this memorandum is an important step towards strengthening constructive academic partnerships and developing skills and expertise through the organization of training programs, joint scientific research, and exchange visits for students and faculty members, which will contribute to raising the quality of educational outcomes and advancing the academic process.
The signing ceremony was attended by the university secretary, Prof. Qasim Khader.
