President of Al Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib,discussed with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Chilean Embassy in Syria, Prof. Patricio Brecky, the ways of joint scientific and research cooperation between the two countries.
Prof. Al Khatib gave an overview of Al Baath University and its faculties as well as its ongoing work for qualifying scientific and research cadres. In addition, he indicated to its developmental, social and cultural role, stressing the importance of developing a high level of scientific and research relations between the two sides and strengthening areas of cooperation and exchange of experiences between Syrian and Chilean universities.
In turn,Prof. Patricio Brecki expressed his pleasure at visiting Al Baath University, emphasizing the importance of joint cooperation between the two sides in the scientific and technical fields. The visit aims to identify opportunities for scientific communication between Chilean universities and Al Baath University
