The university council decided during the second session chaired by the university president, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, to postpone postgraduate studies (master) exams for the academic year 2023-2024 in all faculties and institutes. The exams will last from 3 November till 14 November. Prof. Al Khatib pointed out that the university issued the results of admission sorting for the educational qualification diploma in the faculties of (Homs-Palmyra). He also referred that 1049 students applied for the admission sorting; about 414 students were admitted to the educational qualification diploma, 405 graduates from Syrian public universities, a graduate from open education , and 8 students from the families of martyrs and wounded, noting that the registration of accepted students begins from Tuesday 8-10-2024 until Thursday 17-10-2024, and that the objection requests will be received from Tuesday 1-10-2024 until Thursday 3-10-2024. Prof. Al Khatib also stressed the necessity of issuing results without delay. The council discussed a number of academic and administrative topics to take appropriate decisions.
