An orientation meeting was held at the auditorium of the Faculty of Civil Engineering where the university vice-president for administrative and student affairs, Prof. Ayman Kseibi, and the director of the central student affairs directorate, Najah Al-Asaad, met the directors of student affairs, heads of examination departments, and their assistants in the general and parallel education systems at the faculties. The meeting was part of the university preparations for the start of the new academic year.
The meeting discussed the most prominent problems and challenges facing students and administrative staff. Directives were given to work on overcoming and resolving these obstacles easily, with an emphasis on the readiness of the faculties and the folllow-up of administrative and student preparations to ensure optimal educational process for the new year.
It also addressed the recent decrees and decisions related to dropout and exhausted students, as well as equivalent transfer, changing registration, and exceptional years, to meet the students’ needs and facilitate their educational progress.
