A doctorate dissertation entitled “The effectiveness of an educational program based on constructivist theory in correcting the alternative perceptions in Islamic education course among eighth-grade students” was discussed by the researcher Mahmoud Muhammed Kousa at the Faculty of Education,
under the supervision of Prof. Youssef Khaddour, and with the participation of Prof. Fawzia Al-Saeed.

The study aims to measure the effectiveness of an educational program based on constructivist theory in correcting alternative conceptions in Islamic education course among eighth-grade students and to identify the the lasting impact of the educational program based on constructivist theory in correcting students’ alternative conceptions of Islamic concepts
