In the presence of Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, a doctorate dissertation entitled ” Production of electrically conductive technical fabrics and their application in smart textile products” was discussed by the researcher Nisreen Waleed Al-Atrash under the supervision of Prof. Ghazal Tahmaz and Prof. Ziad Saffour.
Prof. Houssam AlDeen indicated to the importance of the research as it dealt with a modern scientific topic that combines more than one specialization, and contributes to linking textile engineering with electrical technologies and smart applications, which enhances the university’s role in supporting applied scientific research. In addition, he thanked the supervisors and the judging committee, appreciating the researcher’s efforts and her distinguished scientific work that keeps pace with the requirements of technological development and meets the needs of society.
The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Majd Al-Deen Al-Ali, Prof. Ghazal Tahmaz, Prof. Khaldoun Youssef, Prof Mustafa Al-Rashid Al-Ahmad, and Prof. Malaika Istifan

At the end of the discussion, the researcher Nisreen Waleed Al-Atrash was awarded a doctorate degree in textile engineering with honors.
