انطلقت في كلية العلوم الصحية بجامعة حمص فعاليات الدورة التدريبية التخصصية بعنوان “تطبيقات التغذية العلاجية – المستوى الأول”، التي تنظمها الكلية بالتعاون مع الهيئة الطلابية، مستهدفة طلبة السنتين الثالثة والرابعة.
President of Homs University, Prof. Tarek Houssam El-Deen, affirmed the university’s commitment to empowering students and enhancing their field experience to enable them to compete in the labor market, noting that specialized training programs constitute an essential part of the university’s vision to improve the health and education sectors.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Salah Ghazi, explained that the course aims to build a solid scientific foundation for students, indicating that passing the first level is a condition for moving to advanced levels within an integrated training path that ensures the acquisition of the necessary clinical and diagnostic skills.
The scientific program presented by nutritionist Salam Mu’ti included practical topics that covered the basics of modern nutrition science, approved nutritional assessment methods, clinical case studies, and training in preparing diets professionally, with the aim of bridging the gap between the theoretical and practical aspects and enabling students to deal directly with medical cases with confidence and efficiency.
