On the occasion of Liberation Day, the Faculty of Health Sciences ,in cooperation with the Students’ Union, has organized a three week scientific tour for the students of second, third, and fourth years to Ibn Hayyan Pharmaceuticals, with the purpose of introducing students to quality control laboratories and production lines according to modern manufacturing standards

President of Homs University, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, has indicated that such tours are important in preparing specialized laboratory cadres and keeping pace with industry, stressing that such activities reflect the university’s commitment to integrating scientific research with industry requirements and building a new generation of laboratory professionals equipped with quality skills, precision, and professional responsibility. Furthermore, he has added that the university is continuing to strengthen its partnerships with the health and industrial sectors in a way that serves education, research and development.
Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Salah Ghazi, has pointed out that the three week tour contributes to guiding students towards qualitative professional disciplines, and deeping their vision about the future of informatics in the health sector.
The students explained that the tour gave them applied perspective of the mechanisms of analysis and quality control in the pharmaceutical industry, expressing their enthusiasm to repeat such training for the professional experience that supports their scientific and practical future.
