The council of Homs University held its periodic session chaired by the university president, Prof. Tarek Houssam ElDeen, in the presence of the university vice-presidents, university secretary, and the members of the council
The council discussed the faculties’ preparations for the start of the second semester, scheduled to begin on Sunday, March 15, 2026, stressing the importance of providing a suitable study environment for students from the first day of study.
The council also reviewed the university’s preparations for the postgraduate exams scheduled for March 29.
The council members reviewed the progress of open education exams in various programs and faculties, stressing the need to ensure their optimal implementation and to remove all obstacles facing students.
These follow-ups come within the framework of Homs University’s keenness to enhance the readiness of faculties for the new semester, and to accelerate and automate the issuance of results .
